Thanks for answering, but I'm not entirely sure I've made myself clear, just let me elaborate:
In the example I fictitiously specified 4 categories, but I'm not looking for a list of 4x10=40 entries. What I need is a merge of latest pages from these categories and list the top 10.
So, the list could even end up with pages from one category if it had the most recent 10 page creations compared to others.

only the include page technic of different "cat" listings with exact these attributes…
but this creates only the 10 last created pages of the first c at,
then the last 10 created from the second cat … and so on.
( without includes with variables of cats is of course in one page possible..) .

Not the last 10 pages from all wished cat's…
again - i have now in the moment no trick in view

but currently this does not work with Pages module.

Any idea how to achieve this?
