Hi. Recently the environmental club of our school (North Sydney Boys High) created a wikidot wiki for communication within and outside the group, at http://nsb-enviro.wikidot.com. We plan on using this wiki to organize events, working days and lectures, and keep up to date information to allow public communication. It recently became a concern that we may need more storage space - we are already uploading documents and photos and we would like to expand this, possibly with video media as well. Since this wiki is for educational purposes, can we please receive the upgrade offered at http://www.wikidot.com/learnmore:education?

I would like to upgrade our Wiki to Educational status. The name of the site is Drs. Wilson and Cundari Groups and the website is wilsongroup.wikidot.com

This would be perfect for what we are trying to do. The Center for Advanced Scientific Computing and Modeling (CASCaM) is a joining of research groups run through the University of North Texas (UNT). Two research groups of undergrad and graduate students at UNT within the CASCaM program have been collaborating and compiling a massive amount of data on over 250 molecules. We would like to keep these molecules updated through a private Wiki that members of the groups can view and update as needed.

In any case, closed development of a game project does not fall into the category of educational, even if you are learning a lot. You have all my support (I started in software by designing video games) but you should be able to afford a pro lite account.

However, here's a better idea: why not submit a classy theme to the themes contest, and win yourself a pro account? Perhaps a theme specially aimed at game fans?

Then I'll post here as well. =) I've tried to get in touch with you these last weeks, but haven't recieved any replies.

My wiki (residue.wikidot.com) is an information base for a game development project conducted by students of game design, art and programming at the University of Skövde, Sweden. It is not directly tied to any university course yet, although we are very likely to keep working on this game as one of our many project courses during the next year - and either way, development on the side is a critical part of our education and highly encouraged and supported by our teachers and the school.

Do we count as an educational wiki?

I emailed a few weeks back but i also never received a reply.

I am a teacher of General Paper and Thinking Skills at the Singapore Piaget Academy in Medan, Indonesia and would like to use Wikidot as a tool by which students in my classes can collectively access, share and critically engage with news articles, videos and websites in English posted on my wiki page, entitled "Intellectual SPA".

In order for "Intellectual SPA" to be the resource centre that i envision it to be, i do require the storage space. It is my hope that with this email you will be able to grant "Intellectual SPA" (http:/ispa.wikidot.com/) "Educational Status".

Many thanks for this free service to education. I very much look forward to maximising the utilities that Wikidot offers to enhance my teaching.

I have read over the information at http://www.wikidot.com/learnmore:education and believe that my wiki site qualifies. I will use the site to support a university course in data communications this summer. The problem is that the course has already started and I am not receivin any responses to emails I send to moc.todikiw|ude#moc.todikiw|ude.
