i had exacly the same problem and i searched and searched how to upload the image but it didn't work. Then i started asking friends and finally i went to this forum to see if i were the only stupid guy who couldn't upload a image :p
And then i discovered there was a space in the file name :S!
But hey finally it worked :p just in time for my schoolwork because i had to work here for a group exercice!

A full reference like http://mywiki.wikidot.com/test/image.jpg is interpreted as a non-local picture.

I would advise to always use the page/picture reference. It is then easier to reuse pictures. It is possible to apply attributes.
Example: page forumpics holds picture "tech-group.jpg":

 [[image forumpics/tech-group.jpg size="thumbnail"]]

guess i have to read it a 4th time :-(( did that before i started,
got the attribute width and height working but now it isn't clickable anymore
as the page refering syntax i checked over and over and they are all the same,maybe i should create the pages again and remove the old once
my intend is very basic i need only to post text and clickable tumbnails and some interaction between pages so you don't have to scroll down al the time
don't need all that fancy stuff cos i don't understand anything of using css and modules
i know i sound stupid and come over as lazy but i've been reading and trying nonstop from this afternoon 12h, just to come up with e few descend pages and errors
you may look at and edit my page if you want, just tell me how do i grant you access, i'll surely learn a lot

Not sure exactly what you want to do with your image. But the wiki syntax document explains how to achieve most of what you are asking.

Specifically you should check out the following section for information on how to manipulate images.

With regards to the "not finding pages" problem, you need to make sure you reference them properly.
I am guessing that it is a matter of getting the syntax correct.
You should have a read of this. Especially the section on internal links.

If you have any other further questons or get really stuck, post back.

ok that worked but then again the atributes width and hieght won't work anymore
any idea about the not finding pages

You need to use the full reference in order to use the image on another page.

E.g. If you attach the image to the same page then you only need to call it image.jpg (a short reference)

If you want to use that image on another page (not the one that it is attached to), then you need to give the full reference E.g. http://mywiki.wikidot.com/TEST/image.jpg

tried it with the original name, renamed it and renamed it back to .jpg,
no space in its just: start.jpg
however in the page i created called test the image is shown, but when i include the test page into my main page it gives link with the message file doesn't exist
i also tried the image link "

"(without the qoutes ofcourse) in my main page but with the same result
also have a simular error in including other pages, some do show others give a message of not found or are displayed in orange
although those pages do exist and i can edit them
i already removed the spaces in the pagenames and capitals

any idea is welcome for all i know the site is playing dirty tricks on me

Or the other common mistake is not specifying a file extension when renaming a file.
E.g. picture.gif or picture.jpg

hi i'm new and testing things out but i encounter the following prob
when i upload a image and insert the image code it displays a link instead of the image, when clicked on it it says file doesn't excist
what i'm i doing wrong
