The specific FlagCounter Code can be 'created' according to the settings required.
This is easily achieved in a step-by-step setup dialogue on the website of FlagCounter

The above code is given by the FlagCounter website where the following Code is substituted, depending to the User Data:
's01' is the server's subdomain as given by FlagCounter at registration time
'UserAccount' is the User Account's Code as given by FlagCounter at registration time

There are various setup options available, like colour for text, background and frame, maximum Flags to be displayed, Number of Columns to use, and others.
For every visitor from a different country visiting your site a flag is added and then the number after the flags are the unique visitors from that country.

Cool stuff. This reminds me one of ideas we had back in Wikidot: to delete lots of configuration from the admin panel in favour of some magic pages in categories, like category:_css (or category:_style) for custom category styles (category:_side, category:_top for nav bars, stuff like category:_permissions for permissions and so on).

That's quite an old how-to and needs updating. As you've realised the original code works fine for a clickable logo.

I've used the 'CSS The Hard Way' code to put a site logo up instead of text. It's already clickable and in the right place, looks okay in a few browsers. So I'm wondering if the extra/different code in the 'make it clickable' section is actually needed? Not sure if this is a good solution with the thumbnails at the botom of the _template… have someone else another good idea?

To give a short and clear reply:
You can use such font families on every page f your wiki with inserting a module CSS for importing the style sheet like this code:

You can use the imported style in all [[div style="....]] and in [[span style="...]]

Yes, it was confusing me more than I wanted.. sorry for the work of demonstration!

And bad, the shadow is not (yet) working on my IE (8), but on FF(8) not working too!

Edit: The shadow works in the manner that the 2 px numbers are working but the color not..

I have tried it now with "text-shadow:3px 16px;" ( direction "right" and "down") looks "strange".

after looking at your -template I found it … a typo in my span..
But the shadow is not working as I wanted it

Have a look on http://helmuti-pdorf.wikidot.com/style-sheets and the used code.

I have only "imported" in the module CSS the stylesheet from google…

Edit: this does not work in IE (8) … ( IE 9 I have no experience)

Edit2: This does work in FF (8) , but not on my IE (8) on "Vista" … I have no idea why.. I am sure this should work!
Windows Vista - IE Version 8.0.6001.19170 ( 256 bit version)

I thought it would be possible to use elsewhere on my wiki a "html-block" ( or "code" block ?) to get the stylesheets from google and everwherey on my wiki I can use than the
[[span style="font-family:Tangerine;"]] ( or other fonts if I need them!)
… wherever I need it.

AS I have learned - I can use the html-block#s URL which I can get from the rendered page - open iframe only…)
