Read all the "getting help" on the Community Site, the official Documention", and play around with your ideas - you can have a lot of wikis for free to play around; if you do not want to show your experiemnts to other - start with a "private" one - and if you have finished your layout and structure ideas than make it public.

For more advanced control over the google bot, you need a pro account to add the proper meta tag (Looks like the pro demo will let you) so you can access the google web master tools.

First I really like to thank you for the great wikidot service. I'm a fan of wiki and using it in my work for about two years and finally I got encouraged to create my own (to publish some TI related articles).

Why does it spoil the letters in anchor? I have no problems with linking other wiki pages or url adresses…

Alexa does not seem to be relevant for subdomains.

Well, I have here my site at Alexa. But, the statistics that appear are not of my site, but of the www.wikidot.com, and Michal appears as an owner of Istorijska biblioteka. OK, I know that Michal owns Wikidot.com, and I don't object that his name appears as an owner of Istorijska biblioteka since in a way, he IS an owner of that domain and therefore, he own Istorijska biblioteka, too, but I would like tosee statistics of Istorijska biblioteka at Alexa, and not Wikidot.com statistics. Is there a way to change it, or to do something about it?

I must admit I don't understand much how it works, I remember that I put Istorijska biblioteka at Alexa, but it was a long time ago, and I really don't remember how I did it and why it appears like this there….

By the way, I wanted to add a better description of the site, but in order to change it, it asks me to introduce an e-mail address that must be @istorijska-biblioteka.wikidot.com, which I don't have, or to place a file called info.txt on the root of your site, which I am unable to do.

I would have already started it but I cannot come up with any examples.
