Bugs can only be entered by community site members and admins, to stop "can't see the forest for the trees"¹ syndrome.

Renamed pages from bugs:tralala to fixed:tralala

When a bug is fixed: applauses!
However, a renamed page from bugs:iframe to fixed:iframe leaves … a broken link from multiple posts from the forum or elsewhere.

I know that for the mechanics of the list of bugs: there was a need for changing the page from its initial category.

Hence, there is a need for a modification of the PagesByTag module :

[[module PagesByTag category="bugs"  NoTag="fixed"]]

in order to list the non-fixed bugs.

Then don't rename, copy the page, clear bugs:iframe and make it redirect you to fixed:iframe. :)

Problem with sucurity token

With Safari version 3.1.2 I am not able to login.The error I get is "You have no valid security token which is required to prevent identify theft. Please enable cookies in your browser if you have this option disabled and reload the page." I have cookies enabled.

Forum Thread is not showing.

Problem occurrs when browing any Forum Thread (i.e forum->Forum Category->Forum Thread)
Brower: IE 7 and Firefox 3
OS: win xp pro sp3

Description of bug/problem:
The problem occurrs when I try to browse any Forum Thread, the result page will only show me "Forum Thread" and rest of the page is blank. The forum worked perfectly yesterday but today it's all blank pages., the funny thing is that 'forum:recent-posts' working still it shows all the lastest posts. The difference from yesterday is that we have a couple new posts today in the fourm.

Steps to reproduce:
just try to browse any thread.

that was the solution. somehow 'Forum Thread' lost the 'module ForumThread' code in the page.

I am not sure if it's a bug or if it was the user who deleted that code. what I can see in the 'recent changes' page. that the a user deleted a doc file which was attached to the 'Forum Thread' .

Critical Defect: Cannot login using custom domain (in IE6)

Logging in takes me straight back to the original page (no errors or anything, just won't login)

This problem (see: http://community.wikidot.com/forum/t-66083/the-email-can-not-be-sent-to-this-address#post-240398) has been around for a while, however I do not see it listed as a bug yet.

Permissions not propagated to images when site is private and limited to other wikidot users

Hi. This happens when I restrict access to my site for only specific users. The images I have attached to pages for CSS purposes etc. are not visible, even though this permitted user is allowed access to the page content. This is anomalous, and breaks the desired functionality of having a site restricted to the public, but accessible to other members of the community. I don't see any workaround. If you could look at it - thanks.

Pics that are stored in a private site are only viewable to logged in members of that wiki.

Are you experiencing something different?

Do you say - the images stored on a private wiki - dedicated to be used by CSS directly ( perhaps as a logo ) is not used if a member of the private site do visit it logged in and should see it?

One fact is clear - if I visit your private site and I am not a member of your site - I can see only the visit / join/ connect page.
( the "landing" page ). Any CSS-driven Image or logo to be shown in the header or on the landing page is not visuable for me in that case..
Not sure if this works in this manner if the image is attached to exact this landing page…

1. The website;
2. The problem

What is the problem?

The words "I cannot access" mean nothing to me. Does a popup message say "Unauthorised"? Does your web-browser shut down?

Arcstone, I have just checked your site using Chrome and can see the system:join page without any problem. Is it that you can't see the start page (it's blank or gives an error message) or is there some other problem? Clearing your cookies and browser cache might help.

Apologies, I should have been more specific. When logged out, I can pullup the system:login page no problem. When I log in to see me wiki, it gets stuck loading and does not load.

…..huh. I just tried now to see what the error was but it worked. Odd. Didn't load for 2 days now it does. Disregard this thread I suppose and thanks for the response.

I received the following message. The bug is that "Lock will expire in" is a negative amount of seconds.

Moreover as for now I was the only user who has edited this site. The lock is created by myself.

I (for now the only editor of the site at which was observed the bug) is in IST (Israel Standard Time).
