Wikidot under attack?

I got a warning from an old user :
A large number of accounts are being created as of late consisting of simply random alphanumeric characters in rapid succession. While this in its own right wouldn't necessarily warrant action (i.e. placement on the Spambot Death Wall), with how many of these accounts there are, we felt it would be beneficial to inform you should this become an issue in the near future.
I made a look on the http://community.wikidot.com/whatishot Screen to check the new users and accounts and find :

I have no idea why someone creates mechanically such a lot of accounts in seconds … it looks like an attack on the databases and servers of Wikidot to fill up the resources or to prepare a great site creation after this.
Have anyone an idea?

I think this might be bot accounts or something?
Uhm… maybe there are many user at once? Or like your opinion, they're bot?
For any reason - this creation of spam accounts has ended.

In Chinese, spammers are also known as "假证骗子", because most of the content of spammers are advertisements for handling fake certificates.
"fake liar" should be a mistranslation of machine translation.
The meaning of this sentence is actually like this:
These users are spammers.
