Just a bit of fun

If you've ever wanted to see your wiki backwards, you'll be happy to find out that you can! You might get a bit of a headache after looking at it for too long, but you'll be amazed when you find that even the forums work!
Have a look at this page - backwards!
You can edit the URL to enter your own wiki or a website that you visit often, and see the difference. Or just click on links while viewing the website backwards and you'll open up the new page the same way.
I cannot see any differences… what is ongoing with this output than?
Or - better - what is rotateme,org doing ?
Service is my success. My webtips:www.blender.org (Open source), Wikidot-Handbook.

You may need to enable javascript or something like that in your browser. Or try a different browser entirely.
It basically reverses the whole page — not just text, but images as well. If you put a mirror up against the computer monitor, you can see the site how it's meant to be in the mirror.

Refresh, of clear cache, Helmuti. This is so wierd! :D At the first glance it looks like Hebrew… :P

wow, that is really wierd!
This would be a fun April Fools prank — can you think of a way to set up a temporary redirect?
I was thinking along the same line of thought ;-) I was going to make an image for a button (in reverse), so that when used with rotateme.org it would appear the right way up and basically say "click here to continue" — my wiki looks really strange in reverse.

how do i do this?
go to rotateme.org, and type in your website. I find it strange that I can still type even though it is backwards. My head hurts now. (-: (Backwards smily)
Can you post the wiki you want to use it with? I'd be interested to see what it looks like :)
e.g. My wiki's homepage has a lot of images (all of which are reversed): Page / Reversed
Random fact: I'm writing backwards right now and it's really strange pressing the right arrow, and having the cursor move left xD

Check my CSI out. It reverses the page like the site does!

And it does it with a small CSS Module (that is hard to read in reverse! :P)
Does the website I linked to use the same CSS method to reverse websites, or a different method?

The website iframed your site and reversed the contents of the IFRAME. My code reverses the <BODY> tag instead. However, the CSS method is the same

The link to the "backwards page" is broken. It says the url "rotateme.com" cannot be reached.
You're dusting off an old thread!
Sometime in the last 7 years the site quit handling their URL without a www prefix. It works with www.rotateme.org (not ".com").
I edited the links on this page so they work again.
