Help Promote Wikidot with Banners

makimaki's newly created Promote Wikidot page now provides an easy way to display and download user-created wikidot banners. Just upload an image to your own wiki or to an image upload site, and use the module on that page to create a new banner page, and paste the url where directed there.

To post a flash banner (as RobElliottRobElliott has done, upload your swf and iframe it in, but be sure to include a download link using [[file]].

If you want to include a banner on your page, you can right-click images, and select Save Image As (or maybe Save Picture As) and then upload it to your wiki. If you want to include a flash banner, save the swf using the download link, upload it to your wiki and then iframe it in. You can get the precise iframe code by viewing the source of the page the banner appeared on.
