The Handbook team is proud to welcome 
kawina as the first Portuguese contibutor to the Wikidot's Handbook.
kawina is a Brazilian linguist interested in the documentation of indigenous South American languages (particularly those of the Macro-Jê stock). His main interest areas are historical linguistics and morphology. He just set up Etnolingüística, Línguas indígenas da América do Sul, available at http://www.etnolinguistica.org/, a wikidot website of course.
Este é um espaço destinado a promover o intercâmbio de idéias entre profissionais dedicados ao estudo das línguas e culturas indígenas da América do Sul e a oferecer, ao público interessado, informações atuais sobre pesquisas nesta área (bem como em áreas afins tais como arqueologia, etnografia, história, etnobotânica etc.).
