I thought it was useful to see directly who made the last blog post edit.

Gerdami, I did that. I had two reasons:
I now see that in one of your updates you had explicitly added %%user_edited%% just short ago — my change was in no way meant to embarrass you.
If you agree, I'll add it back in.
I agree with gerdami - this is a public wiki where everyone ( only members) can edit a blog entry.

I think that for the homepage it is different, because space is counted.
I do not mind that someone edit my blog:posts or my forum posts provided that the meaning stay the same.
I personally do post editing, e.g. I correct typos in forum posts or elsewhere; I add missing forum titles
But sometimes, I only suggest inserting ==== :-)
I once thought that the user: category should be restricted to the user that created a page in that category - a feature available within wikidot ! - , but again, I would be happy that an English native speaker corrected my userpage.
